ABPMP Romanian Chapter is proud to announce the release of the Guide to the Business Process Management Common Body of Knowledge (BPM CBOK®).
This Guide to the BPM CBOK® provides a basic reference document for all practitioners. The primary purpose of this guide is to identify and provide an overview of the Knowledge Areas that are generally recognized and accepted as good practice. The Guide provides a general overview of each Knowledge Area and provides a list of common activities and tasks associated with each Knowledge Area. It also provides links and references to other sources of information which are part of the broader BPM Common Body of Knowledge.
Often we hear in different situations or circumstances talk of business processes … whether as outsourcing, analysis, re-engineering, transformation, optimization, etc… .
What exactly are they? How does your business processes? What are the mechanisms that link the business processes of the company’s objectives ? What is the frequency with which monitor the fulfilment of the objectives? How to present the results? Why are there sometimes differences between departmental objectives of the organization? How to position management through traditional management processes to be functional? How to make the transition to a business model based on process management?
How technology helps us? How to choose the solutions? The list of questions goes on.
We will try to give some possible answers to the above questions both in this article and in those to come.

Welcome to the BPM Summer School !
Organized by ABPMP Chapter Romania and BPM Eastern Europe Forum , the BPM Summer School aims to bring an overview of business processes, that is, how they can be managed properly using advanced concepts of business process management.
